Australian charcoal dumper
Ingredients
Flour 500 g
Salt 1 tsp.
Baking powder 2 tsp.
Butter 20 g, room temperature
Milk 200 ml
Vegetable oil for cast iron skillet
- To make the bread dumper, mix the flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl. Add the butter and milk and knead into a smooth dough. If the dough comes out too sticky, add a little more flour.
Grease a frying pan with butter and place the dough. Brush with milk and divide into 8 pieces with a knife.
